Teas

Our tea list rotates with season and shipment. Greens arrive in smaller tins so oxygen stays low; black teas may sit longer when the leaf is sturdy. Staff taste every new lot against the previous invoice so flavour drift is noticed early.

Jade stream green is our clearest cup — grassy, sweet, and forgiving if you brew a little cooler. Assam river breakfast takes milk without collapsing. Smoked oak is for evenings when you want structure without bitterness.

Herbal infusions are labelled clearly for guests avoiding caffeine. Coral hibiscus cooler is tart and bright; we serve it warm or over ice depending on Leeds weather. Ask for brewing cards if you purchase leaf to take home.

Ceremony flights present three short infusions from one leaf so you can hear how flavour opens. Bookings are recommended on Saturdays. Walk-ins are welcome whenever seats remain.

We refine our offerings each season based on what regulars request and what our space can support without crowding. Quality of attention matters more than expanding endlessly. If something is paused, we say so on the page rather than leaving outdated promises online.

Visitors often ask how to prepare for a first appointment: arrive a few minutes early, bring references if you have them, and share constraints openly. Clear conversation at the start prevents rushed decisions later and keeps the experience calm for everyone sharing the room.
